Client Council

KinderZorg Bijzonder's client council plays an important role in representing the interests of both the children and their parents and/or carers within the organisation. The council acts as a bridge between the parents and/or carers and the organisation, collecting and conveying experiences, concerns and suggestions to management. This enables KinderZorg Bijzonder to continuously improve the care and service provision and better tailor it to clients' needs. The council provides both solicited and unsolicited advice, which means that it proactively raises issues of importance to the well-being of the children and the satisfaction of the parents and/or carers.

An important aspect of the client council is that it not only responds to questions from the organisation, but also puts topics on the agenda itself that affect parents and/or carers and children. This may concern issues such as the quality of care, communication with parents and/or carers or policy changes within KinderZorg Bijzonder. Through their advisory role, the council contributes to a transparent and responsive organisational culture, where the voice of parents and/or carers is actually heard and valued. This ensures that the care provided by KinderZorg Bijzonder is increasingly in line with the wishes and needs of the children and their families.
