The nursing nursery Bijzonder is for children aged 0 to 4 years with a nursing and/or pedagogical care requirement. This care demand can vary in terms of care severity, in which we look for appropriate tailor-made care. More is often possible than you think! We offer a nice place to play and learn and ensure that nursing and/or pedagogical care is always well organised. This allows your child to develop in a safe and fun way.

A safe place for children in need of care

Our aim is to give every child an enjoyable day, respond to their specific care needs, and help them develop to the best of their ability. We have multidisciplinary cooperation with external therapists who regularly visit the nursing nursery. These include speech therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Is your child familiar with in-house therapists? If so, they are of course welcome and we are happy to work together.

In addition, therapists such as a paediatric physiotherapist and a speech therapist visit regularly. They exercise with the children and support them in their development. Our aim is to ensure that every child has an enjoyable day, responding to their specific care needs and helping them develop to the best of their ability. Together, we look at the next step, such as moving on to education or another suitable place where they can grow.

Our nursing nursery is open from Monday to Friday. During public holidays and during holidays region South, the nursing nursery is closed. We then offer the possibility of receiving care within our day care.

This is how we work

With KIJK! we follow your child's development

We monitor your child's development with KIJK! This digital tool gives us insight into important areas of development, such as social-emotional growth, language, maths and motor skills. We also pay attention to basic characteristics, engagement and any risk factors that may affect development.

KIJK! helps us properly observe and record what your child needs. It provides us with practical ideas to positively stimulate each child's growth. Together, we can thus ensure that each child develops optimally at his or her own pace. Twice a year, an individual development report is drawn up. This report is discussed with the parents and/or caregivers during evaluation meetings.

Uk & Puk stimulates your child's development

The nursing nursery works with the Uk & Puk method. This methodology focuses on stimulating the broad development of 0-5-year-olds through active play. It is a language programme for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. With Uk & Puk, children are mainly active through play but at the same time develop more broadly and quickly in speech and language skills, socio-emotional skills, motor and sensory skills and arithmetic. Uk & Puk is VVE-certified and is therefore recognised as a well-founded and effective programme.
